We are looking for a fast learner person to fit in the Safety Coordinator Assistant position to help us minimize the risk of job-related accidents. You will monitor operations to eliminate hazardous activities. Your work will be focused on prevention, so you need to be diligent and analytical. You will possess a keen eye for detail and a sensitivity for potential dangers. The goal is to support the creation of a healthy and safe workplace.

Responsibilities

• Advise on provisions to minimize safety risks.
• Direct accident investigation procedures.
• Keep records of safety-related incidents and propose corrective actions.
• Organize and conduct safety training plans.
• Collaborate with managers to monitor compliance and identify safety issues.
• Intervene in unsafe activities or operations.
• other responsibilities included, but no limited: address employees when there is a safety violation, talk to supervisors to coordinate a safety plan, coordinate new personnel at different job sites.

Requirements:

* Reliable transportation.

* Valid Driver License.

* Bilingual English/Spanish a big plus.

* Dependable and punctual.

* Flexible schedule, day/night hours, including weekends (if needed).

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Your work will be focused on prevention so you need to be diligent and analytical.

Pay rate to start is $18.50 hourly.

Mileage reimbursement.
