You can use Ipso for event ticketing (registration and payment). You do so by creating a “pay-to-view” post (a post with a pay wall) that will serve as your event’s ticket. You then share the link to that ticket among your community. As each person purchases your ticket you receive an email notification and they would show proof of purchase at the door by showing the ticket as purchased in their Ipso account.
Here’s how to create an event ticket:
1. If you haven’t already, create an account with an email address and password on Ipso.

2. Edit your profile (you can have multiple profiles) and add your PayPal email and an email for purchase notices.

3. Post a new message which will serve as your event’s ticket. Enter the name, date and description of your event in the free-form text field. Use relevant hashtags to increase the exposure of your ticket on Ipso. Add a photo or a video promoting your event.

5. Tap on the “Pay To View” button to turn it on and to add a price for your post in dollars and cents. This will be your event’s price. In the Text field below the price enter a thank you note or any message that the buyer would see only after they’ve paid for your ticket. Enter an email address for questions related to your event.

Tap on the top left “Post” to post your message. It’ll appear under both the Explore tab and the Profile tab. You can copy the link to it by tapping on its share button. Share that link on you social media, website, and email and people who tap on it will be able to purchase your event’s ticket.
